Manuscripts that depict rape on the page. I do not believe an on-page depiction of rape is necessary under any circumstances. This boundary is nonnegotiable. If you strongly disagree, we will not be a good editorial match.
M/M romances written by women. When writing about a marginalized community to which you do not belong, you have a responsibility to research that community, understand the harmful stereotypes historically used against it, particularly those perpetuated by evangelical Christianity, and portray its members with care and accuracy. However, I will edit for the LGBTQIA community.Â
