Copy and line editing is an editorial service that emphasizes technical quality, encompassing grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, consistency, and the overall readability and flow of a novel or short story.
Copy and line edits start at $0.014 per word and include two rounds: one for copy editing and one for line editing. The delivery timeframe for the completed manuscript will vary from 14 to 21 business days for each round of copy and line edits. Anticipate a total of 28 to 42 days for a finalized manuscript. However, finalized manuscript times are contingent upon how quickly the author implements edits.
Example: A 50,000-word manuscript will cost $1,500.
